Message
My name is Leo Uraki, born in Yokohama, Japan, and currently based in Innsbruck, Austria, where I am pursuing my goal of becoming the best golfer in the world.
My ultimate ambition is to achieve a Grand Slam in major golf tournaments. This means winning all four of the most prestigious championships in men’s professional golf: The Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open, and The Open Championship—a feat that represents the highest level of success in the sport today.
To steadily move toward this goal, I have set clear milestones and developed training plans to reach each one. In the 2025 season, I won first place in a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR)-eligible tournament, earning my WAGR ranking and successfully reaching my milestone for my current age. From here on, simply competing in tournaments in Austria, Germany, and Italy is no longer enough. I now need to participate in top-level amateur tournaments held further abroad—in countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Spain—to train and compete against the world’s best players and take my game to the next level.
Looking ahead, my short-term goal is to enter a Division 1 university in the U.S. at age 18, where I can continue to develop my skills in the most competitive environment in college golf.
However, the reality is that the costs of daily training with coaches, golf course practice, equipment, and international tournament travel—including across Europe and beyond—place a significant financial burden on my family. Securing funding for my future activities is becoming increasingly challenging.
For this reason, I created this website to share my journey and to seek support and sponsorship for my golf career. I am fully committed to achieving my goals, and I promise to give back to everyone who supports me—both by fulfilling my goal and by contributing to society in the future.
